The Story Behind Together in Travel

Introducing Together in Travel: A New Era for SMEs in Travel & Tourism
October 9, 2024

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is the global authority on the economic and social contribution of Travel & Tourism. We work to promote the sustainable growth of the Travel & Tourism sector by collaborating with leading organisations, governments, and international institutions to promote job creation and foster prosperity.

WTTC conducts influential research on the economic, social, and environmental impacts of global Travel & Tourism. This research guides top organisations and international governing bodies on the major challenges facing our sector and how to address them to grow sustainably.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent a significant percentage of the Travel & Tourism sector. From independent tour operators to boutique hotels, SMEs play a crucial role in driving the future of the industry.
